Incredible to see black swans, what a treasure. Especially for kids to see these beautiful creatures as part of our environment (not in a zoo)

Stunning natural sanctuary. Young veterans protecting Australia from foreign obliteration of our natural environment request that whoever thought it was ok to have all of our photos and reviews deleted that they think about the impact on others. We've made many visits to the lake to collect those photos and many special community moments. This is a place of peace in a very busy and developed world. Is two wake up calls even enough?

A beautiful wildlife refuge for Black Swans as well as 40+ bird species. A quiet place behind the Gold Coast Turf Club, it is nice for walks and picnics

An unexpected sanctuary located behind the Gold Coast Turf Club and nearby canal. It's a home to many species of birds including the black swan that can be found breeding here during the Spring. The space makes for a scenic area to go for a walk or have a picnic.

Unfortunately, the lake has been repeatedly under threat from tried and failed developmental proposals. #saveblackswanlake

A beautiful refuge for wildlife with black swans, comb crested jacanas and sometimes magpie geese and Jabiru using this wetland :)
